The South Florida Chapter Of the
American Association of Legal Nurse
Consultants supports the mission
statement of our professional association.
The Chapter seeks to promote
the professional advancement of registered
nurses who serve in a
consulting and expert capacity in the legal arena by
providing educational
and networking opportunities.
It is through further educational
advancement in this specialty practice of
Nursing that enables the Legal
Nurse Consultant to act as a liaison between
the fields of healthcare and
law. As professional Legal Nurse Consultants we
are responsible for the
quality of our own practice and adhere to the Standards
of Practice and
Professional Performance as defined by our professional
association.
The South Florida Chapter represents Legal
Nurse Consultants and their
professional interests from the southeastern
counties in Florida. These
counties include; St. Lucie, Martin, Palm
Beach, Miami-Dade, Broward and
Monroe.
"The primary role of the Legal Nurse
Consultant is to evaluate, analyze and
render informed opinions on the
delivery of healthcare and the resulting
